Women in Infrastructure

In ICI, more and more women are having a voice in setting priorities in the design and the operation of the ministry and infrastructure in general. ICI is encouraging more women to join the infrastructure sector as diversity contributes to innovation.  

The number of women employed at ICI has dramatically increased over the years from 5 to 17, scattered across the different divisions – corporate, civil works, waste management, and planning and projects.

ICI is proud to employ a diverse number of women at all levels working across the  infrastructure sector. We aim to grow the visibility of women in the traditionally male predominant infrastructure industry.

Internship Program

Infrastructure Cook Islands is committed to providing an enriching environment that supports school-leavers in obtaining practical and worthwhile experiences in their professional field. 

ICI offers an Internship Program starting in 2022 for tertiary students with backgrounds such as (dependent on availability).

– Finance and Administration

– Planning, Co-ordination, Project Management and Engineering

 

 

Students will experience different aspects of work within their area of interest and be responsible for work allocated by their direct supervisor.

Applicants are assessed on a case by case basis.
